The Backbone of our Clinic

Here at McKenna Orthopedics, we strive to innovate so you, the patient, can receive top-notch care and excellent results. While we offer a breadth of services, surgeries and treatments, the backbone of our clinic focuses on stem cell therapy.

Stem cells are these remarkable biologics that can aid and speed up healing in our patients. With positive result after positive result, and we can claim that this technology is worth looking into.

In a study published in 2015, entitled the “Percutaneous injection of autologous bone marrow concentrate significantly reduces lumbar discogenic pain through 12 months” patients who experienced back pain were injected with their own bone marrow. This is called BMAC, or bone marrow aspirate concentrate. After twelve months, these patients’ back pain dropped significantly.

What is amazing about our own cells, is that they contain what is called mesendchymal stem cells, and they have been proven to promote tissue growth as well as an increase blood supply to new or damaged tissue. So by using your own cells, you can be on the path to recovery.

Dr. Wade McKenna has performed thousands of surgeries and procedures, and is confident in getting you the best results.
